Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya is a 2001 Hindi thriller movie directed by Rajat Mukherjee and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The movie stars Fardeen Khan, Urmila Matondkar, Sonali Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, Ravi Baswani, and Rajpal Yadav. The movie revolves around the obsessive love of Ria (Urmila) for Jai (Fardeen), a married photographer. The movie was a moderate success at the box office and received mixed reviews from critics.
Plot summary
Jai is a fashion photographer who meets Ria in Goa. He takes photos of her without permission and publishes them in a magazine. The magazine becomes a huge hit because of those pictures. Ria agrees to model for the magazine after Jai convinces her. She falls in love with him, but is unaware of his marital status. Jai is happily married to Geeta (Sonali), who is pregnant with their child.

Ria's love for Jai soon turns into an obsession. She makes a suicide attempt, calls him in the middle of the night, visits Geeta in the hospital after injuring her, and lies to create doubts in Geeta's mind. Jai tries to save his marriage and sanity, while Ria stalks Geeta to eliminate her from his life. Jai decides to move out of the city with Geeta to start a new life. Ria asks him to meet her one last time. He agrees and goes to her house to talk to her father (Suresh) about her condition.
Ria uses this opportunity to visit Jai's house and tries to kill Geeta. Jai reaches Ria's place and finds out that her father is not home. He calls Geeta and hears her screaming. He rushes home and finds Ria attacking Geeta. To protect Geeta, he lies to Ria that he loves her and is ready to divorce his wife. Ria believes him and comes to him. He slaps her hard and she falls to the floor bleeding. Her father arrives and takes her away after clearing all misunderstandings.
Six months later, Geeta and Jai are happy with their life, while Ria is admitted in a mental hospital.
